Nappy Nap: Collective Rest, is rooted in rest as reparations for generations of back breaking work, struggle, and effort. We don't accept the narratives of “grind” and “sleep when you’re dead” in our culture. With rest and ease comes expanded mental capacity, clarity, creativity, and healing. This is a brave space held by our facilitator to the sounds of a curated playlist. Each session blends intention setting and mindfulness meditation before an extended rest. This is a passive process that only requires that you show up, listen, and lay yo' ass down!
